I’m Ioana Dragomir, founder and lead designer of Ordinary Seed, a floral design studio in Northbrook, Illinois.

My work brings together premium imported blooms, expressive color and sculptural texture. From bridal bouquets and ceremony flowers to reception centerpieces and statement floral installations, I design around the feeling of your celebration.

I completed the Basic and Advanced Floral Design programs at the Floral Design Institute of Oregon. Originally from Sibiu, Romania, I studied Geography and Tourism at Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca before following my passion for floral design.

At Ordinary Seed, every composition begins with attention: to the flowers, to the space and to what matters to you. Our Northbrook studio creates wedding and event flowers across Chicago and the North Shore, alongside daily floral arrangements for thoughtful gifting and everyday enjoyment.
